This page will be hosting an effort to map out the geology of northern Illinois. I will use geological records, geophysical logs I collected over the year in Lake, McHenry, Cook and Boone Counties in Illinois.
I would like to thank to Illinois State Geological Survey (Tim Young), Peter Snelten from Peter Snelten Well and pump from Waukanda, IL, Jeff Hueman and the rest for the crew from Joseph Hueman and sons drilling company. My thanks to my new assets Larry from Marengo Well and pump, and guys from BINZ and sons well drilling company who has been very kind and helpful in my effort. This domain will be slowly developed in time.
I plan on collecting data and I plan to update this web soon. Next milestone is planned for end of January 2009. If you have any questions please contact me at ed@opengeolog.com
